The IHA Half Marathon is our main event. It's the big kahuna! If you want the full Dexter to Ann Arbor experience, then this is the event for you. It's 13.1 miles of winding scenery on Huron River Drive. New for 2007, all finishers will receive a custom-designed medal (see below).
Please note:
This event is not for walkers, and all runners must be able to maintain a pace of at least 12 minutes per mile. For more information on the pace requirement, see Rules of the Road.
If you're up for a challenge, then we've got one for you! Show up early and enjoy the bus ride to the starting line of this race adventure!
The half marathon is staged at Creekside Intermediate School in Dexter (also known as "the old Dexter High School). Creekside is located at 2615 Baker Road. Bathrooms are available.
Start Time and Location
The race will start promptly at 8:50 am on Baker Road, right in front of the school.
Again in 2008, Half Marathon finishers will receive a customed design Dexter-Ann Arbor Run Finisher's Medal! The 2007 medal is shown at right.

Aid Stations
Water will be served at six aid stations, located near miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12. The aid stations at miles 4, 8, and 10 will also have Gatorade available. A "port-a-potty" is available at all aid stations except for the one at mile 2.
Field Limit
The Half Marathon is limited to 2500 participants. Register now!
