Blue Care Network Kids Run

The Blue Care Network Kids Run is staged on in combination with our Race Expo on Saturday, May 31, the day before the big race. It will be staged on the soccer fields at Ypsilanti High School.

The event is open to kids from 12 and under. The course varies in distance from 50 meters for the tots to up to a half mile for the bigger kids. It's a great way to get your kids involved in this great event!

Note: Kids are also welcome in the Sunday events. We have a "12 and under" age group for kids who are ready for the longer distances.

Start Time

The Kids Run will start at 4:00 pm.

3 yrs to 4 yrs	100 meters
5 yrs to 6 yrs	200 meters
7 yrs to 8 yrs	300 meters
9 yrs to 10 yrs	400 meters
11 yrs to 12 yrs	800 meters

The 800 meter courses uses part of the Ypsi High School cross country course. Much of it is in the woods, but it is a well-marked, well-used trail.

Awards/Gifts

All kids will receive a goodie bag, refreshments, and a medal.

Registration and Packet Pick-up

You pre-register your kids online or register on the day of the Kids Run at the Race Expo. See the Registration Fees page for cutoff dates and fee information. Day of registration opens at 2:00 pm and closes promtly at 3:15 pm. If you pre-register, be sure to come to the Race Expo by 3:30 pm to pick up kids' goodie bags and race numbers.
