Race Transfers

If you registered online previously, and want to transfer to a different race, you can do this online through the RunSignUp.com. Charges for online transfers are as follows:

  • $5 fee to transfer to a shorter race (half marathon to 10k or 5k; 10k to 5k).
  • $5 fee plus the differential cost of the longer race selected (5k to 10k or Half, 10k to Half).
Online transfers will be available through June 1, 2012 at 8:00 pm. After that, race transfers will be available only at the race expo.

If you want to transfer your entry to another runner, you may do so online until June 1st or at the Expo on June 2nd. You can only transfer your entry to another runner for the same race that you entered.

No transfers are allowed on race day - no exceptions!

Entry Confirmation

Online Registration Confirmation

When you register for the Dexter-Ann Arbor run, RunSignUp, our online registration partner, will send you an e-mail message confirming your registration.

Mail-In Registration Confirmation

If you mailed in your entry, you can verify that it was received and processed by locating your name on the list of mail-in entrants. This file will be posted to the website after the May 11th mail-in deadline. Please wait and check for you name after May 11th. If at that point you don't see your name listed on the PDF file, please send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Cancellations

If you already registered online, and need to cancel your registration, you can do this after March 1st. There is a $5 cancellation fee, but the remainder of your original entry fee will be refunded directly to your credit card. (It may take up to 30 days to receive your refund.) Instructions for obtaining a refund will be posted on the RunSignUp.com site in March.

Refunds will be avaiable through April 30th.  After that date, no refunds will be made. However, you may transfer your entry to another runner online through June 1st or at the Expo on June 2nd. There will be a $5 fee to transfer.

Note: refunds can only be made through April 30th for online registrations. There are no refunds for mail in registration.

Online Registration

Online registration for the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run is processed through RunSignUp.com.

Note: Online registration ends at 8:00pm on Friday, June 1st. Races will most likely fill up prior to that date. If races are still open and you miss the on-line registration deadline, you can register at the Race Expo from noon - 6:00pm on Saturday, June 2nd.

USATF 10K National Championship: You must register for this race at the USATF on-line registration site by 8 PM EDT on June 1st. Go to the 2012 USATF Masters 10 km Championship tab. To participate, you must also be a 2012 USATF Member. (membership info is available on the USATF site)!

Mail-in Registration

Online registration is the preferred registration method for the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run. It is a simple process to manage for the race committee and saves postage for race participants.

However, we recognize that some people do not like online credit card transactions, Mail-in registration will be available for the Dx-AA event through May 11th. All mailed-in entries must be postmarked by May11th.

Packet Pickup

You can pick up your race packet at the following 2 locations and times:

  • At the Race Expo from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, June 2. (Check this site for the Expo location as race day approaches.)
  • Downtown Ann Arbor at the Ann-Ashley parking structure (220 N. Ashley) between 6:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on the morning of the race. The packet pick-up tables are located just steps from where you can board a bus to take you to the start of the half marathon or 5k.

What is in the race packet?

Your race packet contains two items that you'll need on race day - your paper bib number with timing strip embedded and a set of safety pins. Pin the bib to the front of your jersey. Everyone will also receive a Dexter-Ann Arbor Run Tech Shirt.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

Yes.

Will packets be available at the starting area of each race?

No - the race packets will only be available at the expo and at the Ann-Ashley parking structure from 6:15-8:15 a.m. on race morning. If you go to the race start without picking up your packet, we will not be able to time you and you will not be an official finisher.
