The MedSport 10K is great for serious runners and not-so-serious runners (and walkers) who want a little more than a 5K but not the whole half! The course features some of the most beautiful stretches of Huron River Drive.
Staging Area
The event starts near Rudolph Steiner Lower School, located at 2775 Newport Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Parking at Steiner is very limited, so parking downtown is encouraged. (There is no return bus service to Steiner after the race.)
The race will start promptly at 8:10 am. on Huron River Drive at Foster Road, near Steiner School.
Field Limit
The 10K Run is limited to 2000 participants. Register now!
Aid Stations
Water will be served at three aid stations, located near mile 1, mile 3, and mile 5. The aid station at mile 3 will also have Gatorade available. A "port-a-potty" is available at these aid stations.
Non-Competitive Fun Run Division
Interested in participating in the 10K Run but not so crazy about having your age and time posted for the world to see? If so, simply sign up for the 10K Fun Run. The price is the same and participants get to enjoy the same scenic course, great atmosphere, and post-race food as the competitive runners. The only difference is that Fun Run participants times and ages will not be posted in published race results. (Chips are still issued and your time will be available to check on-line.)
