Welcome USATF Masters Runners!

Hello! The Ann Arbor Track Club is proud to be a part of the USATF's Championship series, and we look forward to meeting many of you at our event in June! We have a proud 37 year old tradition with the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run and we are excited to be able to share part of it with some of the best masters runners in the country (including some from right here in Michigan!) Please consider coming and spending the weekend in Ann Arbor. I think you find many ways to enjoy it.

Note to local runners: The question has come up - why would I want to register for the USATF and enter the 10K Masters National Championship vs the regular 10K race? The main reasons to consider the USATF 10K are 1) to have the fun and excitement of participating in a National Championship, and 2) to get a shot at the USATF prize money if you think you might be able to finish in the top 10 overall or the top 3 in your age group. (#1 would be the reason for most people.) We do hope a lot of local runners will participate just for fun to help round out the field.

Feel free to contact
Doug Goodhue or myself if you have any questions or concerns about the event.

- Hal Wolfe, DxA2 Race Director

P.S. We will NOT be having a team competition. If we host this event in the future, we will likely add that.
